we move on Friday

yes, this Friday, the removalist truck will come and take all the large furniture to Villa Maria. Friday night will be our first night in our new home..

I am at the last of the packing.. you know all those bits that you really don't know if you want to keep or not. so you put them into a pile in the middle of the floor, stepping around and over them. trying to ignore they are there, but all the while knowing you will have to deal with it eventually.

I play on facebook for a little light relief and go to Avis & Bills place for a cup of tea and a break.

My spiritual life is suffering. badly. I am not taking time to sit in silence. I feel completely disconnected from the Divine. I am a mix of emotions - excitement & sadness. But most of all I am tired. absolutely exhausted.

forgive me for not visiting your blogs..

Wow, that was quick. Somehow I thought it was going to be longer...or perhaps time is passing by quicker than I thought it was. Soon you will be in your own place. Take some time from settling in for yourself and your spiritual practice. You need that. Moving is stressful, indeed, and spirituality is a calming presence.

You are never disconnected from the Divine, just look inside your heart and soul, you know it's true.

Packing up a house is exhausting and yes sad, leaving the place you called home for years there will be grieving. Each of our homes will hold a special place in our hearts.

I know too well the pile of bits and pieces you talk about, they eventually just get shoved into a box, well in my case they did. A box I can't remember seeing again, it could be still in my Dad's shed. Most of the items I've never even missed but there have been times when I am looking for a specific item and remember the last time I saw it was in that pile.

I hope the move goes smoothly! You'll reconnect with the Divine when things slow down and get more back to normal!

I've been following your moving efforts closely on Facebook. How exhausting to pack up a life. Please Robyn, take a mini-break. Five minutes of quiet will not lose you anything and will gain you much. Several throughout the day will help a lot.

Not long now! There is something very satisfying about when the removalists finally close those truck doors saying, "see you there".
Good luck and warm wishes to an adventurous and positive couple - that warm spark is inside of you, no need to connect with it, or feel you're neglecting it - you ARE it. You're amazing,as was Inglewood, so can understand the excitment tinged with sadness. You will, however, always have such a warm and interesting home wherever you and Joe are.
Can't wait to see your ideas come to fruition in a home that is already feeling the benefits of your presence! Much love. xxx

Hi Robyn,
I hope you can take the time to relax when everything is in its place.

You WILL get through this.

Put all those last minute bits into a box and sort them when you get moved.

Don't worry an bout blogs and blogging right now, get settled first and take care of you and yours.

You'll regain your connection, Robyn. Moving is so stressful.

I feel for you. In similar situations I feel I don't even want to talk to anyone... just to have some silence to regroup my thoughts and ground myself.
You have had a lot of extra hard work, and decisions to make recently, once you move you can begin your recovery.
There will be no rush, just the days ahead to fluff your nest and find yourself once more.
Big hugs..wish I was closer and could help..
