it's been awhile

it has been awhile, hasn't it? I have been going through a very quiet time.. maybe I am intune with the seasons..but I have been doing alot of inner work & learning quite a few things about myself.. lessons in life, you could say.
we had a lovely few days away & returned home to rain.. and it has been raining on and off ever since.

I have been taking part in a couple of online workshops - True North Arts 'storytelling collage' & have recently joined Barb Kobe's Medicine Doll workshop..as well as working through "Walking in this world" - it may seem alot.. but surprisingly or not, they seem to interlace with each other . I am still in two minds whether to share here or not.. I have learnt that I must trust my own inner guidance on the art work..

while we were away, I was in the company of some amazing trees.. complimentary of Mother Nature..

I went walking one morning and came across this tree.. I just had to take Joe back so I could get a photo of me hugging it. the bark was amazing

I actually gathered some of the fallen bark. it can be used in art work. the Aboriginal people of Australia, used the bark for many of their baskets and in many other ways. it is brilliant.

Goddess Tree. this tree stood out to me, as soon as I saw it.. a lovely, lovely energy

have my blogging days come to an end? I don't know.. I will visit as I can & my posts, well we shall see what happens.

Follow your heart with regard to the things you do. If you feel
like sharing, then share and if you don't then...

Oh I hope not, I love coming here.
But at least I'm lucky as we have emails.
glad your doing well if quietly in the winter season.
Mind you it feels like winter here today with torrential rain. Jumpers in May not good!

I'm blogging less also and been trying to get my life on some type of path that I want to be on and it right for me. Not sure where to find that.
I love big trees. It hard to find big ole friendly tree. But when one does it such beauty.
Hope all is well down under.

Coffee is on.

Love the snap of you hugging the tree. PH is a tree hugger too..!
Don't leave your blog Robyn, I have done that a few times, and even totally deleted my first 2 blogs, much to my later regret.
Just leave it as is, and when you feel the need to express yourself, it will be here. No pressure, no expectations.

The bark on that one tree is amazing! Gorgeous photos of all the trees.

Having some time to get in tune with yourself and Mother Nature is good. As for the blogging, I'd say just do things at your own pace.

It sounds like you've been keeping quite busy, Robyn. Those trees are amazing and I can actually see a face in the tree you are hugging...it's smiling. Artwork can be a very personal exploration so it's up to you whether you feel comfortable posting it or not.

I sure hope your blogging days aren't coming to an end...maybe you just need a little time away to re-focus and refresh. I think we all need that from time to time.

Love, light and peace,
Serena xo

Robyn the photos of the trees are wonderful. I am fascinated with all the different types of bark, and sometimes make baskets from natural materials. I hope (very much!) you continue with this blog, but perhaps it may live on incorporated in Villa Maria. You have much to offer wherever and whenever you post. Enjoy your quiet times.xx

i think we all have moments of not not being able to blog~we seem to go through cycles where we either need to share and need the contact or we have nothing to say~nothing we feel we need to contribute~but we always come back :)
its strange but like my work with my green man oracle or pathworkings~i blog when i get a 'pull' to write something.
