a little bit of news.

today dutch husband & I bought a house. a house that will become our home. our new home. we have been looking at the house for a few weeks and finally our offer was accepted. so now begins the severing of ties with this gorgeous house known as Inglewood, that has been our home for just on 10 years. a bittersweet time for me. some ask how we can leave this beautiful home.. Inglewood is a family home.. we are empty nesters.. Sophie only stays a couple of nights a week.. so we wish to find a smaller home for us. It will be difficult and yes sad, to walk away but I am really excited and happy to have found this gorgeous new house that I will make into our home.. there is a lovely big yard, with advanced trees, room for my chickens and a vegie garden. there is a little bit of work to be done to get it how we want it but that is part of the fun.
it is only about 7 houses up from the Catholic church in Springwood, which means I can walk to mass if I so desire. and up the other way is the golf course.. a short walk for dutch husband. yes, it is time to go..

I have a few ideas for a name for this new home.. but I will tell that another day.
any suggestions?

[update on my breasts: the Dr called today, most upset at what had happened and I am to see him this Friday when he will schedule me for surgery to do a biopsy.. then we will go from there..]

You are so wise to downsize now that you are empty nesters. How lovely to be able to walk to your church and his!

Glad to hear the doctor was properly chagrined at the mix-up!

how exciting...a new home! it's like starting out with a blank canvas, waiting for you to put your mark on it. while it can be sad to leave Inglewwod I certainly understand the need to downsize. Our youngest will be in colleg in a year and my house will seem much too big for two of us.

If you change the name you'll have to change the name of your blog!! Give those doctors what for!! You are in charge here!! A little respect here!! Once you get the all clear you can move on fully..no more health worries..you are 100% healthy..so be it.....

First of all, congratulations on the new home!! That's so exciting. I agree with Diva that it's like having a blank canvas....you can put your own stamp on it and make it your own.

And I'm happy to hear that the doctor was not pleased with the way you were treated. That was just very unprofessional.

I hope everything will turn out ok with the biopsy !!!!

Such fantastic news, a new home, a new fresh page to write upon.
So many things that can be started again, like making a new garden.
I wish you lots of luck with your new house and hope it will become a real home for you !!!
