a house with our name on it..

a good aussie red

today we bought a house. yes, I know I said it last week, but this time it is for real.. we will pay our deposit tomorrow and in about 8 weeks, it will be ours. people will think I am crazy when they see what I have swapped Inglewood for.... but this house truly grabbed my heart when I walked through the door. ..

[a toast to our new home]

tonight dutch husband and I thought it was appropriate to celebrate.. so pizza and wine for dinner!

and a sneak preview at the new home that will be ours

it has a good backbone of a garden, quite a few citrus trees, hydrangeas and room for my chickens. there is alot of work to be done both inside and outside.. but we both love a challenge & are looking forward to breathing new life into this place... and the name... yes, I think I have one but will tell later ~

[today: drinking lots of nettle & fennel tea, learning to feel the nightsweats up through my chakras and blowing them out, panting, as if I am in labour.. this menopause is hard work! and being positive that my body is 100% healthy.]

Congrats! I think the new house looks great. It's wonderful to be starting a "new project," isn't it?

Love it! People all over the world seek out saunas, native
american sweats and such to purify. Women are blessed with our own when we reach a certain age and can handle the power we are given through it. It's a Kundilini thing. Don't get too distracted by the sensations and focus on the power rising within you! Of course there are those who know the consequence if women become aware of the power they hold in their bodies. This is why men are the Drs. most often tending to women's health. They hope we never get a clue. But this is changing... Be the change that is happening to you! hugs

That's the spirit Robyn! Blow it off! Can't wait to see what you'll get up to with your new house. No doubt your fingers are itching to get into a new project. You will leave a wonderful gift of accomplishment at Inglewood -there is more work for you to do making this planet a lovely place, leaving footprints of environmental and spiritual beauty behind you. You are certainly not one to let a hot flush stand in your way! Cold turkey-shmurky! You're a menopausal warrior!!You go girl!Any thoughts of your coming tests - whack it away with your wise woman rod/staff. "Thy rod and staff comfort me" I think is the biblical quote but it can also provide a damn good defense mechanism. x

Congratulations on your new house. It's just lovely. I hear you about the nightsweats. For the first time in 24 years, hubby and I might have to sleep in different beds. I'm driving the poor man crazy at night. Take care and you're in my prayers.
