wedding memories.... @ Tinks

I am taking part in Tinks June Honey moon - oh I was going to create all manner of wonderful delights... chiffon wedding dress... a cake to die for and a gorgeous bouquet from my garden... but it didn't happen, I went shopping instead and bought a pair of boots... so it is a vintage wedding memory from me...

my very first wedding... I was two years old and a flower girl for my godmother Auntie Elaine... I have heard that I stole the day. I was the first grandchild of my mums parents (Percival & Jean) and the apple of their eye... and my godmother spoiled me dreadfully. Apparently all I did on the day was sit down and play with my bouquet basket......

I still have the dress...

a little blue number.. it hangs in my hallway.. and you know, when I took a photo of it just then... that perfume I mentioned a few posts ago.. wafter around me again!!
for more wedding delights, visit Tinker - Tinker is a very good friend of mine... I love her lots!! a gorgeous soul who cares for many, many others ~

off to Tinks ----> weddings at Tinks

Oh Robyn - you delightful little flowergirl, you!!!
What a sweet, sweet memory - and photo. How wonderful that you still have the dress too! What a treasure!
I am so very glad you came to dance under the June HoneyMoon - every wedding needs a flowergirl, and this is just perfect!
Thank you! XOXOXO

What an absolute sweetie you were - no wonder you stole the show! (And no wonder I didn't have any bridesmaids little or big!)

I'm glad Tinker arranged this; your blog looks very interesting... I may have to stay a while... I hope that's okay.

That is so beautiful. The dress is a treasure indeed! I remember being at an aunt's wedding when I was 3, and being totally absorbed in the feeling of my velvet coat-collar against my chin whenever I turned my head from side-to-side.

What a precious little flower girl....looks like you were busy talking to the flower fairies. :-)
Now lets dance....how high can we jump and twirl? Maybe we can even fly.

You were so cute and I love that you kept that beautiful dress.

I'm jealous that you can visit with Tink. I'm in Northern CA and my grandkids are almost ready for Disneyland.

Someday...

How sweet that you still have the dress! How could you not steal the day with cuteness. That is a terrific picture.

I think you have shown and shared with us the most wonderful thing you possibly could. Yourself... What a grand beautiful flower girl you mad. And hair you had hair. Banna had no hair the first time she was a flower girl. But I don't think I put a picture of her that time in my vid. Her first time as a flower girl was when my YDD got married. Love Hugs and Blessings

Isn't it funny how a scent can transport you back in time. To anyplace at all, you are immediately 'there'
