I just found about bout your blog and these ups and downs you are going through - I know them so well myself! I am in a phase of change and also in "finding".
Regarding your allergies - do you think of having your bedroom windows closed during the worst period of the day and wash your hair every night? Don't dry your sheets outside, don't hang your bedcovers outside to air them. I am allergic to hazel-pollens which have already started flying in December... weird, as well as to birch and plantain - which will be in flower during all our summer... When we were on holidays at the sea I was all right! Can't move there unfortunately...
I've love to read your blog so far and will come back!

Hope you and Joe had a lovely time at Echo Point - we stopped there on our honeymoon...Lucky you to have roses! Ken got himself out of his sickbed at 4 pm to buy me a card, poor darling. He didn't have to, but he WANTED to - therein lies the difference.

No, really, I won't let it get me down, although for me Valentine's Day this year was no cards or flowers, but the loss of my day job. (Although is there ever a "good" time for being downsized? No.)
