"You wander from room to room
Hunting for the diamond necklace
That is already around your neck!"
-- Jalal-Uddin Rumi

I am taking a break.... not sure how long I will be away.

a day, a week, a month, a year... ok.. that is dramatic.. I know.
but I am seeking the divinity that is within..... getting to know myself... spending time with my own inner friend, my sister soul, my mystical sister.
Tonight, I told the angels in no uncertain terms that if they don't start to help me with this damn soul search of mine... I am going to give it the flick... become totally irresponsible and flippant.....

why oh why can't I be like Cindi Lauper - girls just wanna have fun.... that's all they really want...
They just wanna, they just wanna
Oh girls-- girls just wanna have fun

We'll miss you while you are away. Have fun anyway. . . after all that is when children discover the divine, while they are at play.

I just get back and you leave..!!
I just bought a book called A Year with Rumi.
Each day has a special verse or quote, I love it.
I just opened it at random and found.

Which is worth more, a crowd of thousands,or your own genuine solitude? Freedom, or power over an entire nation? A little while alone in your room will prove more valuable than anything else that could ever be given you.

One day you will find what you are looking for and realise it was there all the time.
hugs
xx

I'm sure your angels are all gathered round providing much needed assistance at all times, whether we can recognize it or not. I just started reading your blog on a regular basis so will miss it, but will keep checking for your return - with angel stories.

I will miss you, but you know how to contact me. Sometimes, when we look the hardest, the more elusive it becomes.

I hope the angels have heard your request.
XOXO

Maybe this separation is exactly what you need to do to find your mentor Robyn. May the Goddess be with you my friend!

Oh Robyn. I seem to always catch you on the downturn of the rollercoaster!
I think, (scary I know), but I think when we stop looking, and become very still.....wisdom rears it's gorgeous head.
Stop the search.
Do the opposite of everything your mind is telling you to do, and just live.
Love, laugh!
And yes, have fun!
xoxo

Love you lady!

Enjoy your divine time! I think Winter or leading into Winter is the best time to do this sort of inner work. Blessings, Amy

And what if this search turns out to be a lifelong one -- with pauses in between to relish how far you've come?

Please don't stay away for too long. I will miss you so much!

Breaks are necessary. You know where to find me. Your visits and insights always enrich my day.

I'll be including you in my blessings and prayers, precious sister Crone.

Live well, love much, laugh often!

Missing you already, Robyn. I agree with Gillian at Indigo Blue. Just stop the search and LIVE!!! But if you have to...don't stay away too long.

Love,

Julie

You know where to find me if you need me.
Are you making anything lately?
You used to work on your journal and bos, maybe if you start again on that, you will find yourself again...
