well, it has happened

today, we received an offer on our home Inglewood.. and we accepted. Not exactly what we were asking but with the world market as it is.. we thought it is better to sell than wait .. plus the woman has fallen in love with the home.. and that is all that matters to me...
contracts were exchanged tonight and there is a 10 day cooling off period just incase minds are changed... dutch husband & I have 6 weeks to pack 10yrs of living at Inglewood.. and move it all to Villa Maria.. chooks and all.

Congratulations on finding the right buyer - she was out there, it just took her a while to find you!

And good luck with the packing and moving; seldom anything but hard work, both physically and emotionally, but you'll be strong and soon it will be done. May it go well for you...

Big blessings to you at this strange, haunting, stressful time until you are established in Villa Maria at last!

Congratulations...and I know it puts you at ease to feel comfortable with the buyer. You will probably feel a bit of sadness for ten years is a long time, but the new is out there waiting for you. There are plenty of new memories just waiting to be made.

Exciting news. I feel a faint twinge of jealousy - sometimes I fancy a move.
