the broken wing

can you see the missing wing? do you think that the missing wing will stop this angel from soaring to the heights that angels usually live? do you think that the wing was given away to someone who needed it more?
will he be forever earth bound..limping like a bird with a broken wing? Unable to fly & always reaching for places now unreachable because of his affliction. do you think his heart might be broken too.. ?
or can Angels conquer their broken wings & fallen halos just by believing in themselves. believing they can reach anything they wish for and in believing, it becomes a reality? would that be a miracle?

angel is part of a candleabra that i spied in a local antique store and knew it was to come to Inglewood..it is not perfect. it has cracks and bits missing here and there... but I like it like that, I think it is perfect just the way it is... kinda reminds me of myself.

It reminds me of the maxim that we are all angels with just one wing. That's why we must pair up with another angel in order to soar on two wings.

I think it's beautiful just as it is. I, too, have an angel with a broken wing. I added her to a decorative piece I made and no one would ever know her wing is missing.

And I think if we believe, we can make anything happen.

Oh I love what Debra said♥ In December where we were staying was a precious little Robin who had what appeared to be a broken wing and yet he could fly perfectly. Perfection is in the eye of the beholder and he was perfect in my eyes, just as your Angel is♥ xoxo
