A man and a woman and a blackbird. Are one

the past few days pondering selling Inglewood and moving, has actually made me see our home through new eyes and to realize how lucky I am..I asked the blackbird in the apple tree, if I should move.. she just sat there looking.. giving no sign, yes or no.. but once I settled on staying put, all she has done is sit in my apple tree singing her heart out.. starting at 5am and singing all day..so I think that is a sign that she is happy that I am staying at Inglewood

do you get a deep sense of satisfaction when you scrub & clean your home & then put little treats or delights for other people? wondering what they feel when their eyes land on the heart given surprise?

even Dutch husband enjoys a flower in his bathroom

The answer is YES!
And Al comes home on Thursday, so there will be flowers in his ever so tidy bedroom. The fridge will be full of his favourite food and his Christmas presents will be waiting on his bed unwrapped but there.
I can't wait!

Love the quotation from Wallace Stevens' "Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird." It's one of my most favourite poems. I'm glad the blackbird approves of your decision!

Yes, yes, yes! I feel exactly the same way and it's so very wonderful that you do that. It's love in action and motion!

You know Robyn I have this feeling that just being content to be yourself, in your own beautiful home, is the key to your spiritual path for this life. It feels simple, and utterly right for you.

This is definitely your home but as I think I said before, I felt like this about our last home. It was gut wrenching and heartbreaking to leave it but now I feel the same way about this house!!!
I think when you put your heart and soul into a home it's very hard to leave but it can be done, I'm proof...

Hi Robyn, I'm so glad you decided to stay and are happy about it. I know what it means to make big decisions. I didn't renew my contract at work, because of all kinds of reasons. We will have to be frugal, but husband and I have eachother and the kids, what else can we ask for ??
Have a great day !!

I am joining the blackbird in song! My heart dropped when I read you were thinking of selling Inglewood! You are meant for each other. :)
