and waiting for the birth of my new grandson ~ Charlie to be born. any day now for the next week or so.. the phone rings and I jump ~ is it time to go and be there to welcome him into the world? My bag is packed ready. Complete with my Selenium wand to massage my daughters back. A Moss agate for her to hold while she has contractions and some eucalyptus leaves to represent being born of this land Australia. so that he will belong.
and I wait in anticipation for dutch husband to decide whether or not to splurge on a totally indulgent second Harley Davidson ~ a little bit of a rebel streak this one will be. For us to go for coffee or a day ride...I am totally encouraging him on this one ~ he works so hard and you just never know what is around the corner in life, so enjoy it right now is what I say to him.. but somehow, I don't think I will have to twist his arm.

lovely marbles!
and the bike...oh my word my dad recently bought another motorbike as he was 'having a crisis'...like DH another harley!
Congratulations, on both the new baby and the bike. Our youngest grandson is 1 month old on the 28th. I have a new born photo of him and the other 3 on my side bar of the emptynester. They are all a blessing and so precious. They make me glad to be a grandma.
Many blessings to you. And don't worry, big hug. have faith that you will be fine.
Oh so many wonderful moments in the offing! I love the marbles, and it's nice that you have that bit of your Da...
Rock it with that bike, Gran!
I'm sure the waiting must be hard. Try not to worry too much, I'm sure everything will be fine.
How wonderful ~ another grandson on the way ~ congratulations.
You just look way too young to be a grandma.
I do love the juxtaposition of Rock Chick on a Harley with you waving your wand at all.
Hope all goes well for your daughter.
xx
Yay for motorbikes! Looking forward to seeing some lovely piccies of the newest additon to your family. I can't spell right now... oh well. Posted a little bloggy love to...
love the marbles, scared of the bikes!! I'm new to you I'm off to find out all about you! Thanks so much for visiting, my blog
Sending thought for the very best checkup
All the best for the results Robyn. I'm sure you'll be just fine and waving that wand in no time!!(how exciting about the approaching grandchild..will you be roaring into the hospital carpark on the back of the bike?)Fun plus!!
What treasure you have in that jar! I have the marbles that my mom and uncles had as children, in a fishbowl (just the marbles, that is - without water or fish in the bowl). I love all the colors in them, so much. Hope all goes well - with your tests, the baby and the bike!xoxo
You are lovely... so many of us are jealous of YOUR life... enjoy it!! x
Waiting is always the hardest part. Once Charlie arrives he will be surrounded by lots of love. It shows through in all you do.
I love the motorcycle!! If you own two will you then ride one while your hubby rides the other??
Sending you all my best wishes and positive energy for healthy test results (that must be nerve-wracking!), a beautiful new grandbaby, and a fun new way to get moving. You deserve all the blessings!
Oh, how wonderful! A brand-new little grandbaby to welcome into the world!! Sending your daughter lots of white light and hugs for a safe delivery.
It's hard to sit and wait for test results too. I do hope everything will be fine. Keep thinking positive!
Love and Light
Am I going to have to sent one of those biker angels after you? Maybe so. This past year I sent 250 of them after a band of Viet Nam Biker vets taking a run cross country to the memorial wall in D.C. Before their leader ever started out, he and his wife were spared when someone totaled their bike with them and their box of pocket angels on board. Not a scratch to either of them or their box of angels! You take care on your next ride. All is well now for you....hugs, sr. K
I hope by now you've had good test results (I remember how grim that waiting can be) and that little junior has arrived with all going well for mama and baby!
Blessed be!
Hi! I'm waiting with you keeping good thoughts about your all of your prospects. xx
Oooo I used to have some marbles exactly like that!
Hopefully Robyn you have received good news. How exciting waiting for Charlie to arrive. I hope it's a smooth delivery for your daughter. Love the name by the way. Splurge on the bike Dutch Husband, it's a beauty. Take good care Robyn. Linda xoxo
Perhaps by now your new grand son will be here?
Waiting for test results is hard isn't it/...no matter how confident you feel. I'm sending positive vibes across the world, for Louisa and you.
Big hugs
xx
Nice pics, Robyn....I love how you are planning to add that special touch to the birth of your grandson.
I wish you well on your test results. While I'm not a fan of motorbikes - to each, their own - I also think life is to short not to splurge or pamper ourselves here and there. I say go for it! :)
Good luck with all the happenings taking place in your life.....good health, a safe birth, and lots of fun on the motorbike.
This a wonderful post Robyn. Especially the part about the eucalyptis leaves so he will know he belongs to Australia. I love that. You have changed so much in the past year or so.....but, well, you know that. You are a strong woman now.
Remember to think positive. You know the universe and mother nature does not like negative thoughts! xoxoxoxoxo
