ahhh Midsummer

the very first thing that I heard this morning when I woke was the blackbird, singing it's little heart out and is still going right now as I type. The blackbird as you know, I believe is a sign from Daisy. A blackbird singing at Midsummer. Daisy's favourite time of year - a sign perhaps? a magickal sign? it gladdens my heart when the blackbird visits... . We are off to do our last minute christmas shopping today, to buy gifts for those people who insist on wishing me a wonderful Christmas.. I feel like screaming. I wandered around the garden early this morning and thought i would leave you with some photos.....

for those of you who live below the Equator, have a wonderful Midsummer, full of magick.... and for those in the Northern Hemisphere a blessed Winter Solstice xoxo.... later today, make sure you visit FaeryLand for a special surprise!!

I just got back from grocery shopping, battling insane traffic, heaps of snow on the streets and very irate shoppers! I kept a smile firmly on my face and was pleasant and polite to everyone, including the grumpies.

Then I visit your blog, and here welcomes me a beautiful world of enchantment. Perfect! Thank you!

Have fun shopping, and don't let the crazies get to you. :)

Oh I love the seasons, and I love the bare winter trees, but as we get ready for the first icing of the roads here tonight, I am so wishing I was in your garden ...

I love blackbirds, I consider them a wonderful omen in my life, and I had a dear friend who I moved across country from years ago who always told me that when I saw a blackbird it would be her thinking of me. How funny that it is the same with your departed dear friend.

Your garden looks like the sanctuary that you deserve, no wonder your pour your heart into it. I love thos massive big blue flowers, they look a bit like wisteria, but no idea if you have that in Oz.
Peace and blessings on you dear friend for your midsummer magic.

I am jealous Robyn, how I wish I still had my own little patch of dirt again like you have. I can still get my hands into the earth but here I feel it is not mine. I love your garden and that you share.

What a lovely tour of your amazing garden. It's my first, but won't be my last. Your "midsummer" pics are especially welcome on this chilly first day of my winter.
Happy Winter Solstice from the Northern Hemisphere!

Happy Summer Solstice! Oh your garden looks *wonderful*, such a treat to see all that wonderful growing greenness. It's magical to know that even though it is cold & snowy here, somewhere else the gardens are in full bloom!

We had our winter solstice feast yesterday, so was too busy to blog. So I'm sending belated solstice greetings to you. Our boiler has packed up (good timing!) Luckily it's quite mild at the moment. And it warmed me up having a midsummer stroll around your garden!

A wee note is on it's way to you by snail mail. Too late for midsummer but hope the wishes will reach you in time for your becoming a Goddess anniversary.

Looking at these pictures is such a breath of fresh air compared to what is going on at our son's home in Oregon. They did not make it down for Christmas because of the miserable weather. All airports and many roads shut down. But Christmas day is here and there is something about Christmas Day that puts all the disappointments in order.

Wishing you all the best for a bright and happy new year, Robyn. Love, Annie
