a quick post then off to bed

I'm home. tired and sore.
the hook needle biopsy did not hurt one little bit. I didn't feel a thing. I am sure, make that positive, that the prayers, the angels, the love and good thoughts all put a protective aura around me.
the operation went well ...[although I will say that when the needle for the drip was going into my hand, the anaesthetist missed my vein and went right through it. he said 'oops I think I went right through the vein, bet you didn't want to hear that'.. so he had to insert the drip needle into my arm]
and the results will be ready next Friday. so we wait. but I not in the least worried

I came home today to hacked trees on my footpath. the council workers decided to prune the trees along the street. they are not arborists or tree surgeons so you can imagine what it looks like. these are my flowering cherries and my Manchurian pear.. not happy at all about that. I think I will light some candles for them tomorrow.

I'm so glad it didn't hurt! Sounds like your poor trees got mangled more than you!

I'm so glad things went okay for you today; that can only be a good sign. And so sorry about your poor trees - but your prayers and energy will be with them. May nature's powers of recovery will flow out from you to them and from them to you...

I'm glad it went well yesterday.

I think you'll find the trees were hacked by contractors for Integral Energy, they're the ones destroying trees all over the Mountains at the moment.

Glad to know that the biopsy went smoothly even if the vien was missed. No doubt you have a great big sore bruise there now!

I hope you'll be Ok Robyn. I'm sure you will but I'm still putting it out there every day anyway. Can't hurt!!

Too bad about the trees, it always breaks my heart when I see anything like that. It's painful to watch any tree be cut or injured. I won't even cut flowers to bring indoors and my family know never to buy cut flowers for me.

Glad it went well dear Robyn, apart from the vein! Why would he tell you that! You're a brave soul, and doing extremely well taking one step and a time. Sorry about your trees, but sounds like your council workers are as insensitive as the anaesthetist - too ready with the "Whoops-sorry!-overshot the mark!" Bloody hell! Big hug.

I'm glad to hear all went well with the surgery, Robyn....praying for great results. Keep that positive attitude.

OH NO, your poor trees! How insensitive of those contractors! I think it's a lovely idea to light a candle and wish your trees healing.

So glad all went well Robyn...
except for the hacked trees.
We need our trees. Every time a tree is chopped another one should be planted. What is up with all the deforestation going on? They are chopping them down here too.

Get some Rest...
here is a flower for you. @->

The nurse did that to my dh last time he had a blood test - went right through the vein. He's a tough guy, but he said he wanted to yell. Glad to hear all else went well, though.

Sorry about your trees. I hate to see trees cut down. We had two that had to come down; I still miss them, but dh made some tool handles from the wood and such so they're not entirely gone.

Good to hear it all went well Robyn, holding you in my thoughts.

Sorry to hear about the trees, although I'm sure they are as strong and resilient as you and will recover to carry on stronger than ever.

Love to you
