F ~ is for

not much happening here in Woodford - it is raining - again or still would be more appropriate.. and while I know we need this rain... I also need some sun.. but who am I, but a speck in the scheme of things to complain? So I will be grateful for our weather... it is filling our dams, it is watering my gardens and it has been a cool summer.. but as I said.. autumn is on her way... the last days of summer are here now... and I have been told that we have had an English summer, so maybe those theories that the polarities of Mother Earth are changing are correct... maybe one day Australia will have a White Christmas...
so.. I will just get on with the F in my life....those Fantastic, Fabulous things that make my heart Flutter...those things in my life that I can have a Feeling of gratitude for.....
first of all we have a little FAERY sign.. the people who created this sign, did not know how to spell faery correctly... the sign sits in a pot of Bay on my front steps

then we have FEVERFEW... this started of in my garden as one small plant and has now self-seeded all over the place. I love it!! It is good for headaches apparently.. oneday i hope to be able to use my own feverfew to treat my headaches...

then we have FOUNTAIN.... in the middle of my front yard... it goes constantly and I find that the sound of water is quiet peaceful.... I have a few water plants in it too... Joe bought me this fountain for one of our anniversaries....

and last but not least is my FOOT... I took this while at the beach on the weekend.. do you know how difficult it is to take a photo of your own foot, while juggling a big bucket of shells while the tide rushes in??

so there you go ~ my ABC for this week ~ be Footloose and Fancy Free!!

I love your fountain! I think the feverfew is lovely ~ so you use it in a tea for headaches? I am dull, as I usually have lavender about and use that when I feel a migraine coming on...
We are having very strange weather here, one day its warm the next quite cool. I know you are looking forward to Autumn!

Right On, Sister, Footloose and Fancy Free. I like all those wonderful "F" words! You could be right about the pole shift. The NorthEast Coast of the U.S. is getting a wallop of winter. We have Sunshine Today on the West Coast where there is often Rain. Fancy That. Wish I could bottle some of the Sunny up and send you some. I'll send some through the ethers. Blessings, Sr. K

It certainly sounds like you're having the same summer we had in the UK last year!
I have lots of self-seeded feverfew in the garden too, and I love its cheerful little daisy flowers. Funny the things we can have on common on opposite sides of the world!

I like your F’s! The fountain is beautiful, am thinking of how to add some water in our future garden but I don’t want the moskitos breed right in front of my bedroom window… The faery-sign is lovely, hope some faery will decide to live in our garden, too. The feverfew looks nice, will have to look it up as I have never heard of that name, from the pic I’d say a close relative to camomilla? And I like the pic of your foot on the beach – looks similar to the tide pools I so much loved in Britanny.

G'Day,
We must have some sort of strange link between us. Too many coincidences. Maybe if you had stopped at the pottery at Fitzroy Falls........ Eh! more F's, funny! Fancy that. lol. Re; my last post pics,I reckon there could have been fairies in that grotto it was a magical place. Did you have a walk around the Falls?

I think I'll get some of that feverfew and let it go wild. My poor daughter suffers from headaches a lot! Lovely F fotos today!
