my fourth grandson born Sunday, September 6th. coming into the world at a hefty 9lb 5oz...
my daughter was in labour for 8 hours and they ended up having to do an emergency caesarean section... all are doing well after the ordeal. Grandma is very tired and still sifting through my emotions.
Congratulations :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all, especially to little Charlie, for entering the world. He's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Charlie Alexander!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a joyful life!
Congratulations to the whole family. :)
aww... bless you and you DD and the baby I have yet to experience all of these emotions! congrats to all!!!
ReplyDeleteOh isn't he gorgeous. Welcome precious little Charlie, although he wasn't so little was he. Congratulations to all the family and I hope your darling daughter is coping well after her emergency c-section. What a wonderful Father's Day gift. Hope Grandma Robyn is feeling much better today. Love Linda xoxo
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! What a beautiful baby, Wow ( 9lb 5oz) Amazing.
ReplyDeleteRobyn, he is sooooo cute. He looks like he came directly from the pages of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. Maybe a little Gumnut baby? Adorable!! Congrats to the parents, and grandma and dutch grandpa!
ReplyDeleteCongrats again Robyn! There's nothing quite like grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteGlad mum and Charlie are doing well.
It sounds as if it has been a roller-coaster week for you; congratulations on the test resutls, such a relief to see that simple word "normal"; congratulations to all your family on the new arrival, and wishing many happy healthy years to Charlie. The collapsing group sounds painful - I've been there too and I well remember the shock, the recriminations and the passive aggression and the confusion trying to work out what has gone wrong... There's a wonderful piece in one of Starhawk's books - I think it's in "Dreaming the Dark" - about the dynamics of small groups, the cycles they go through and their tendency to fall apart or to be utterly transformed with the passing of time and the turning of those cycles...
ReplyDeleteYour walk to Juliet's Balcony and finding healing places in the bush is magical, just to read about; how much more magical to do. My lovely Aunt-in-Oz, favourite aunt of them all, is a Juliet, which tickled me!
Blessed be...
Imogen.
Well done to all, for being there and being Ok.

So precious....
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! What a dear little boy. Isn't it wonderful that we can take their pics at 1/2 hour old? As you well know, way back when we were having our babies, nobody was allowed in the "delivery room", but now, we are fortunate enough to be included in this wonderful celebration of Birth.
ReplyDeleteGentle hugs, come back to Earth in your own good time. Glad daughter is well. C-sections are hard.
Blessings
Ahh! What a wee darling! Congratulations to you and yours, and a warm welcome to a sweet new being.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! And welcome to the world, Charlie! So glad everyone is doing well. Hope you (and the new mama, of course) can get a little rest. Best wishes and blessings to you all~XOXOX
ReplyDeleteHe is gorgeous! And keep sifting - I know that it all brings up weird stuff - I guess it happens again with each grandchild until one finally kind of works through it somehow.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely awesome! And so is he....:)
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS to all on the newest member of your family. How darling he is. I'm glad to hear mother and baby are doing well.

Congratulations Robyn, to all concerned. He's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI just came back to look at Charlie, and it strikes me that he looks like one of the delightful fairy pod babies that Daisy used to make..
